The 14th Pan-American School Chess Championship was held in Florianópolis, Brazil, between August 30th and September 5th. The event was organized by the Chess Confederation of America (CCA), the Brazilian Chess Confederation (CBX), and the Santa Catarina Chess Federation.

Last Sunday, August 31st, the Blitz and Rapid rounds of the tournament took place. The awards ceremony took place on the same day, after both events.
